If you have played “Works” disc golf you can stop reading this definition. A Dot is when you hit metal, cage and above. No Pole. As you move farther away from the basket the first thing you need to do from any distance is hit metal(dots).  If you hit metal your shot is more than likely going to be close enough so you will not here the 3 most dreaded words in Golf,”your still away”, and you will usually be close enough to make the comeback putt. If you hit the pole you really missed everything,but you will probably make the comeback.No Dots for hitting the pole.

Flushes are when you make the putt. You Flushed it.

Comebacks are the total number of Dots & Misses that you flushed.
